Languages and appearance
Choose a language
Section titled “Choose a language”You can choose a language during first-run setup or later in Settings › Language. The options are:
- System default
- English
- Español, Spanish
- 简体中文, Simplified Chinese
- 繁體中文, Traditional Chinese
You do not need to change the phone’s system language to change Orphie. On iPhone, Orphie changes its own app language. Android uses the phone’s per-app language support.
The app supports all four languages, and these help pages are available in each. Use the language menu at the top of any help page to switch.
Choose an appearance
Section titled “Choose an appearance”Open Settings › Appearance to preview and choose one of four themes:
- Original
- Original on warm paper
- Calm, warm
- Calm, modern
Original is the default. Orphie applies your choice immediately and remembers it.
These choices change the app’s visual theme. They are not Light, Dark, or System controls. Light and dark appearance still follow your phone’s settings.
Language in exported workpapers
Section titled “Language in exported workpapers”The CPA workpaper’s primary text is English. If you use another app language, the PDF adds translated secondary labels. The CSV is not fully translated.
